“Moved by the Spirit, small Christian communities reflect on the scriptures and come to understand the breadth of the applications of God’s word. When people authentically share the scriptures, they see the implications not only for their personal lives but for the wider society as well. Therefore, they are led out of a privatized spirituality into a spirituality which embraces all of creation.” [1] They can then share the fullness of life (see John 10:10) with others.

The material offered in the Peace and Justice area explores the rich heritage of social justice teaching of the Catholic Church. The selections are designed to help small communities and parishes as a whole address peace and justice issues and to better realize their great potential for participation in God’s reign on our earth.
